ARP Main Stud kit for the Focus Zetec engine now available. Why use studs? One, to obtain more accurate torque readings because studs don't "twist" into a block. All clamping forces are on one axis. Two, there is less force exerted on the block threads, which contributes to improved block life. And finally, easier engine assembly and proper alignment of the main caps. When you are making the "big power" with your Zetec, you want all the help you can get to keep the crankshaft from trying to push its way out the bottom of you engine. Set includes 10 studs, hardened washers, nuts and assembly lubricant.
